Japanese Jiyu (Free Pose) doll with a Otabakobon hairtsyle, lightly pigmented gofun, full cheeks, large expressive glass eyes, real hair arranged in a “tobacco box” style popular with young girls ornamented with silk cords, silk flowers and a butterfly with metal details, holding in her right hand a branch of silk flowers, wearing a printed silk kinono with large floral and leaf patterns, red silk brocade obi, white silk obijime and a fawn spot obi age, with articulated arms and legs with elastic banding allowing the doll o be posed and to maintain a set position, voice box (inoperative), minor signs of wear, reddish tint to hair from light exposure, overall fine condition.
