Ichimatsu Girl by Iwamura Shokensai (Toko, 1892-1968), beautiful early example wearing a rich silk crepe informal furisode kimono featuring staggered vertical color bands, floral roundels and red undulating tatewaku line pattern on a rich purple ground, soft, full face with nicely detailed lips, lightly pigmented gofun, inset glass eyes, real hair, painted details, hands naturalistically rendered with painted nail details, white tabi socks, red silk brocade obi and obijime tie cord, hakoseko purse, minor wear to textile, overall excellent condition, 24-1/2” High
