Japanese Ichimatsu Boy with a dynamic shishi lion dog design, Kyoto-style ichimatsu with white gofun, inset glass eyes, painted details, silk fiber hair done in a chasenmage style for young boys, with long side locks and long back tuft, with finely formed hands with tsumekiri fingernails and creased details, wearing a rich purple haori outer surcoat with matching kimono over pleated hakama trousers, haori bearing bold designs of shishi lion dogs playing with balls piqued out with gold thread embroidery and set off by bands of diamond patterns with the encircled meyui (mesh) crest, unsigned example, minor fading,17-1/4” High.
