Early ichimatsu boy, unsigned, but done in a style similar to that of Togyoku, with wide set large eyes, well formed mouth, full cheeks, shaded and painted hair, slightly pigmented gofun,  wearing a yellow and purple sleeveless outer jacket and a bold silk inner kimono with unusual odori festival dancing figures on diagonally striped field, well formed hands with well separated and slightly flexed fingers with dimpled knuckles and carved tsumekiri nail details, bare feet also with carved tsumekiri, minor loss to textile, overall excellent condition, 20-1/2”
